Originally an album created by Sax player Matt Ottignon & drummer Benjamin Walsh.. The album spawed an outfit adding vioinist and guitarist Shenzo Greggorio. Na Moja (now an ensemble) music is refreshingly modern being steered by technological leaps and bounds. But the roots of this group is Jazz and Classical..a high level of musicality exploring what could be possible and then executing those discoveries into their sound. The many various afrobeat and dusty world funk albums are the clear muse of this record both in production and compostion. Not from anywhere in particular sonically but born from three crazy musicians living in Australia who sound like no one else.
